The Vintage

This is an urban renewal project located in a major commercial hub in northern Taiwan, with a view of the blue riverside highway day and night, showcasing Taiwan's century-old prosperity, bustling business district, and cultural heritage. The target audience is high-end retirees and returning entrepreneurs who appreciate functional living and cultural taste. The concept design presents a unique spatial aesthetic and practical living spaces. The public space is designed with continuous semi-circular lines, skillfully blurring the beams and columns, and shaping the introverted modernity with flowing curves, presenting a sense of harmony and inclusiveness. The popular elements loved by three generations are carefully integrated, allowing users of different ages to find their own sense of belonging in a personalized space. The private area is planned as three suites for different generations. The senior room presents a warm and comfortable atmosphere with a hotel-style brass screen and modern Chinese solid wood decorations, implying a stable and calm feeling. The master bedroom for young adults is designed with a spacious and open layout, mixed with natural and different materials, presenting a multilayered gorgeousness. The children's room is presented with a simple and dynamic vitality. Along the window, a row of sofas is arranged to highlight the precious view that can be easily accessed from the originally half-height window sill, magnifying the highlights of the space. Based on the proportions of the building's doors and windows and the viewing angle, the rooms and flow are divided. Balancing the functionality and visual beauty of different room types, every detail is well-balanced, highlighting the high plasticity of the space through partially asymmetric proportions and three-dimensional lines, while giving the homeowner ample room for future lifestyle imagination.
