Lamè

Lamè The inspiration Lamè is a staircase with steps made of iron in a shape of bands bent at 90 degrees and alternately covered with wood inside and outside. The project is inspired by rhythmic gymnastic performance with a ribbon. In my project I transformed the sinuous and curvilinear shape of the ribbon to sharp and geometric figure. The staircase looks like suspended in the void, even if designed to be firmly anchored to the ceiling, floor and side walls, based on the balance. Iron brightens up the colors and produces a lamé effect which refines the atmosphere.
