Established in 2012, Blend is an Egyptian Public Limited Company, started its journey with its first showroom in Nasr City - Cairo with the goal to create the perfect “blend” of furniture to allow its clients to make their house a home. Since then, the company grew exponentially and expanded with two more branches in 2015 (Heliopolis) and 2019 (East Cairo), followed by the opening of its first flagship store in 2021 in west Cairo allowing the brand to reach a total of approximately 1000SQM in retail space. The essence of the brand is simple, Blend is looking to offer quality design furniture- the premise is built on its ability to keep up with the latest trends and to identify market gaps as well as anticipate clients’ needs. Blend isn’t just a brand, it’s also a platform that strives on curiosity, knowledge and efficiency- the showrooms with their display rotations serve as a source of inspiration for designers, who are constantly encouraged to explore different aesthetics and trends. Blend has been paving its way into different industries, the brand capitalizes on its capability to form alliances with several entities that share the same values. As a result, aside from its showrooms, the brand offers styling and furniture sourcing services for hospitality and contract projects allowing Blend to expand beyond its retail channels. Through seeking out collaborations, the brand started building a reputation for itself for being the perfect partner in furnishing design-oriented contract projects. In 2019, Blend furnished The G Hotel- a 540SQM hotel located in a high-end gated community in Egypt’s North Coast, the project was followed by the furnishing the latest venue of Cairo’s fine dining restaurant Sachi in Park St. Throughout its journey, Blend adapted its product range to fill a market gap based on its ability to anticipate design and interior trends through constantly studying the industry and monitoring its retail channels. With new ventures ahead, the brand is definitely looking to once again surprise the industry with yet another concept that will offers its clients a completely new retail experience.
