Plato and Aristotle is the project of a pair of bedside tables, which, although similar and combined, are very different from each other. Plato, the left bedside table, has an upward development: a rectangular ring embraces it, supports it and slims it. In the lower part there are two drawers, in the upper one three small shelves to place books, objects or other. Aristotle, the right bedside table, is also embraced by a rectangular ring but which holds it and pushes it down and acts as a leg that supports it and holds it firmly to the floor. The inspiration, as you can easily guess from the name of the project, comes from the famous fresco "The School of Athens", where Plato and Aristotle are represented together. While the first raises his finger upward to indicate the path to reach the good, the second extends his right arm keeping it suspended in mid-air to indicate the opposite process to achieve the same goal.
